New Delhi Marathon 2026

The New Delhi Marathon (NDM) returns on February 22, 2026, and if you are looking for a flat, fast, and iconic course to chase a personal best or Boston Qualification, this is it. The race starts and finishes at Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium, weaving through some of Delhi’s most iconic landmarks — Lodhi Garden, India Gate, and the grand Kartavyapath.

NDM is AIMS certified, which makes it an officially recognised qualifier for Boston, Berlin, and other World Marathon Majors. The course is as generous as it gets — minimal elevation, wide roads, and a route that passes through the heart of heritage Delhi.

Weather on Race Day — February 22, 2026

February mornings in Delhi are cold, crisp, and perfect for running. Expect temperatures around 14–16°C at the start and rising into the low 20s by late morning. The early start works very much in your favour.

Pacing the Race

The NDM course is predominantly flat, which makes it ideal for a negative split strategy — running the second half marginally faster than the first. The cold start is your ally; use it to run controlled in the first loop and let your legs open up in the second.

We have built a pace calculator with kilometre-wise split paces based on your goal time. Use it to plan your race strategy before race day.
